H54F!!

We made it to another Friday Friends!!!

I'm so stoked that this week went by so fast, and that I'm done with classes!! I could probably in all honesty come up with 12 things I'm excited about but I'll try to contain myself.

1. The Beautiful snowflake ornament that one of my sweet members made for me and the staff (we each got our own!).  She is just an incredible member who's always thinking of others.  She was a high school French teacher for ever, so she has LOTS of stories. 
2. This BooBooKitty who is THE BEST Snuggler ever.
3. Katelyn & Jerrica who let me bombard them with countless pictures of my makeup, my outfit, my stupid faces, my "Should I wear my hair like this?" "or like this?" and my mini freakouts due to nerves. They never let me leave the house looking like a mess, and I appreciate that!! Y'all are the best!! xoxoxox
4. Finals are. O-V-E-R.  Winter Break has begun and I'm not looking at another text book until January 7th.. (except I may already be shopping around for my text books for next semester now.)
5. 3 Wick candles at Bath and Body works are now 2 for $22.. $8 a piece.  Yeah, someone's getting candles this christmas.... or maybe I'm just getting more candles. :) (My Fave's for Winter are "Snowed In" and "Sparkling Icicles")

H54F!

In an effort to focus on the positive, here's my H54F!!

1. Barrett Jones won the Remington Award last night!! Y'all know that I'm madly in love with him!! Last night after I heard this news I was like "hmm.. How old is he? 22.. Wait. How old am I? 23? no.. 24?! Holy crap!" (yes.. that is actually how I think.. scary isn't it!)

2. Christmas Party Weekend!!  Every year my neighbors host a fantastic (by fantastic, I mean there's lots of booze) Christmas Party after our Christmas Parade.  Last year I was in the parade for work, so by the time I got to the party everyone was a teensy bit drunk.  This year, I'm not in the parade so I'm planning on napping when I get home from work, and then going over there early!! Who cares that I'm the youngest person there.  The Hostess is a fantastic cook and the Host is the best bartender!! 

Saturday night we're having a Christmas party for our Nature Conservancy Committee that I'm on the board. I got a few fancy smancy new dresses for the holiday season including one that is so classic Audrey Hepburn I can't stand it!!  It's a bit more formal so I'm thinking I'll save it for Midnight Mass at church on Christmas Eve. I love any excuse to dress up though, so I am really looking forward to the parties tonight and tomorrow night!!

3. Kitty Snuggles. Always.

4. J.Crew Factory. Seriously.. They have great prices and great stuff right now!! I've gotten some cute sweaters, a cute snowflake shirt and some gifts for friends and my family.  Let's be honest with ourselves though..J.Crew Factory is Always Amazing.

5. My fantastic Friends.  The holiday season is going to be tough on me, but I know I'll get through it with my friends.

That I did some Sammie Shopping when I finished up my Holiday Shopping.  I got some shirts from Loft, some tights, and a belt from Gap, and the original Naked Palette by Urban Decay from Ulta.  People told me to get Naked 2, but I really felt like I'd use the colors in the original more.  So far, I love it. Soooo much!! Now I need a bigger makeup bag for my growing makeup collection.

That I have done nothing this morning other than read blogs, watch Modern Family, and play Candy Crush Saga on Facebook.

That I bought all of the Ricola Cherry Honey cough drops that Walmart had.. I have a cough and they make me better.

That the Boy Meets World sequel has been pretty much the highlight of my week.

That one of my best friends, Katelyn (A Wife's Life) and I talked on the phone for the first time ever in life yesterday.  I love her dearly, even if I've never met her in person.  Oh! and that we discovered "Cat Effects" this week.  So this happened:

That the Human to Cat Translator app has taken over my life.. Cause it makes my BooBooKitty happy, and that makes me happy.

High Five for Friday!

1. So today I'm hosting a Football themed party at work.  We started a "Fall Fantasy Football Challenge" right after labor day where my members had to come in and work out 3 times per week (which they should be doing anyway!) for a "Touchdown", if they work out more than that they get a "Touchdown" and a "Field Goal".  I love doing promotions like this, but Man! am I relieved when they are over!!  So I was up forever last night making whole wheat pumpkin muffins, and throwing a breakfast casserole in the crock pot for my morning ladies (my co-worker is bringing chilli later for our afternoon ladies!).  So far, it's been a hit!

2. Notorious Nineteen!! So two summers ago a friend introduced me to Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series.  I read all of them that were out, bought 17 when it came out in June, then 18 when it was released last November.  Notorious 19 comes out on Tuesday, and my Thanksgiving break starts Tuesday, so I will be reading to my heart's content allllllll break long!

3. My Cate.  You're my rock..  Thanks for putting up with all my freak outs, my indecisiveness, my heartbroken and sobbing phone calls where you can't actually understand anything I'm saying but you listen regardless, my ranting and raving.  Thank you for being mad at the people who hurt me, when I'm too upset and hurt to be angry.  Thanks for helping me to realize that I deserve more than I thought I did and for teaching me not to settle.  You're the sister I would have chosen if I could have chosen a sister.  The confidence you have in me is astounding and I hope I'm worthy of it.  Love youuuuuu!

4. My BooBoo kitty.. He is just so sweet and snuggly lately.  He's very much a mama's boy, but he also likes to snuggle with my dad in the recliner, and my mom when she's not feeling very good.  My heart melts when I see those big blue eyes. He has really been a bright spot in my life.  I love him so much.

5. I have rekindled my romance with eBay.  Much to the detriment of my bank account!!  But for realllll y'all!! I love getting a good deal!! Brand new Tory Burch flats for half the retail price? Yes!, Kate Spade weekender travel bags (with a minor scuff mark?!) at more than 80% off the original price Sign me up!

1. Fall Festival!

The same logo since forever, but I love it.

In my oh so cute little town, the first weekend in October is always Fall Festival.  What is this festival you ask?! I don't care that September 20th was the "official start of Fall", It's not Fall until I've been to Fall Festival.  However, this is my first Fall Fest in like 6 years.. so.. Yes! I haven't had a Fall since 2006. Not really true, but I'm kind of ridiculously excited about it anyway!! Funnel Cakes, BBQ, Gyros, Meat...on a stick, deep fried stuff.. Yep. I'm stoked!!


2. $100 coupon to spend at Lilly...

So back in August Lilly Pulitzer had their Endless Summer Sale.  Needless to say, I had to shop.  I debated my purchases for like 3 days, and finally placed my order.  And promptly forgot about it.  In my defense, it was a busy time.  I was starting school again,  getting ready to leave for Cate's wedding, working my usual 40+ hours a week and I just plum forgot.  So then in like mid September I got a shipping notification and I was like "ohhhh yeah!" I got my shipment, and half of my stuff wasn't in there, and the maxi dress I bought was WAY to big (A good problem, but a problem none the less... my 6 foot tall mother now wears it).  I was miffed, but they put the sweetest little apology note in there so I was like "Oh Lilly! I forgive you! I could never stay mad at you!"  So then two days later I get an email that's like "Have 20% off and free shipping from your next order".. "Okay! Don't mind if I do!" and theeeeennnn.... I got another email from customer service that was like "We're really sorry we let you down, Here's $100 off" Shut. The. Front. Door.  I was seriously so excited.  Well.. Now it's October, and I'm still so overwhelmed! Have you been to that website y'all?! There's so much stuff that I want, need!  I've decided. I will spend it by the end of October.. Maybe by the end of today!



3. My Tervis...
I had a birthday coupon (Yay! Birthdays!) from Tervis, but I was in love with like 4 different cups.  2 of them were Alabama cups (duh!) and the other was a Fiesta ware.. cause I love Fiest ware y'all, but I got on the cutest leopard print, because it came with a lid and the others didn't.

And my cute cup! I'm drinking out of it right now! Yummy Coffee since it's 6:30 and I've been at work for an hour and a half already.. after staying out far too late drinking wine with my parents.

4. Midterms
What kind of weirdo is excited about midterms? This girl! Cause that means it's almost fall break, and that I'm half way through the semester!! This semester has been crazy! 5 classes and 40 hour work weeks.. I don't recommend it! Plus once I'm done with this semester, I'm one semester closer to being a teacher and that is so exciting I could bust.

Don't Panic... Yeah right.

5. Bojangles.
Bojangles got new coffee y'all! Not only did they get new coffee.. they were giving it away! If you bought a biscuit, they gave you a free coffee... any size! So I'm having a Cajun Filet biscuit and some delicious BoJoe and I'm just so happy about it.

So Yay for Friday!! I'm going to work on lab reports, lesson plans, study for midterms and I'm soooo looking forward to going home and snuggling with my precious baby tonight:
