1. Do you plan to change any of your eating habits in the new
year? I plan on drinking more sweet tea, which probably sounds really
counter intuitive but its my favorite thing ever and all too often I'm
like "No..I'll have water" even though I really want sweet tea. I also
plan on being more strict with my Meatless Monday's promise.
2. Any workout tips to get us back in shape after the Holidays? Start gradually and set realistic goals for yourself. You're not going to lose 100lbs before 2014, but you could very easily lose 15-20 and keep them off!
3. Favorite thing you did over the Holidays? Spent time with my sister, niece and nephew. I don't get to see them nearly often enough and we always have a fantastic time.
4. What is something you hope that you accomplish in 2013 that you did not in 2012? Reading my 13 in 2013. It was 12 in '12, but that was an epicccc fail.
5.
Name 3 things happening this year you are excited about and why:
Katelyn is (hopefully) coming to NC for Spring Break!! I'm turning 25..
I'm trying to be excited about it, but I mostly really freak out about
it, Getting a new and hopefully more exciting job where I'm more
appreciated than I am at my current job.
So yeah, this was late, but hey! It's still Sunday so that counts right!?
I always say I'm going to link up for Sunday Social but then end up schedule something else to post instead. NEXT WEEK, I swear! Hah.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree with you about setting REALISTIC goals. Whenever I don't succeed in my fitness goals it's 95% of the time because they're unachievable and I just end up giving up. If you REALLY love any of your 13 books let me know. I'm always on the lookout for a great read!!
Thanks for commenting!! haha I don't always do a Sunday Social, but I figured why not today! and I love that Neely posts the questions for the following week as well so right after I wrote this post I wrote next weekends too!!
DeleteI've almost finished "Of thee I Zing" by Laura Ingraham, and so far it's been pretty good!!
Wow! I WISH I had a goal of allowing myself to drink tea/fun beverages more. I have the opposite problem. I HATE water and have to trick myself into drinking it. I am a NC blogger {well, barely over the SC line technically, but NC born and raised} ... are you a NC girl?
ReplyDeleteHi! I'm a NC girl but my home sweet home will always be Alabama. I don't think it matters how long I live in NC, I always get this feeling of "Ahh... Home Sweet Home" as soon as my feet touch that red clay.
DeleteYour blog is adorable!! I love it!! I'm your newest follower!!
Yay!!! Saving up for our trip :)
ReplyDeleteYay!!!!!!!!!!!!
